1. Sam & Hot Cheeks™
Hot Cheeks™ was a true light bulb, 'ah-ha!' idea. During the pandemic, my family rented an older condo in the middle of winter, in Winter Park, Colorado. After taking the 2 "covid-puppies" outside to play in the snow, I returned to a very 80's bathroom.
The toilet paper holder, 2 brackets and a 1 tube, were broken off the wall. The toilet paper roll was rested on the baseboard heater.
Picked it up, wished it was clean, loved that it was warm.
Hot Cheeks™ was born.
Science, Research, Or Lack There Of: Why the World Needs Hot Cheeks™
The best innovation mentors taught me to try to 'kill an idea from all angles, then see if it lives." I've done just that with Hot Cheeks™. Since I've had this idea, I've tried to "kill it" from all angles.
I went shopping for it first, couldn't find it. I searched furiously on USTPO websites, and after advice from a mentor to speak to a lawyer, I did just that. Created a prototype with cardboard, household parts, including a part of a mail box and a coat hanger to explain the vision. The incredible team at Merchant & Gould, advised a global search, and this proved the idea could live and be owned.
Research, research, research. To this day, I research, save, and below am putting together a significant, detailed thesis as to why Hot Cheeks™ is a solution to a widespread problem. This problem, needs more research itself.
